The Twin Cities PCC would like you to join us for the Twin Cities PCC Day
Tuesday, September 24th at the iconic Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, MN from 7:30 am - 12:00PM
Postmaster General Louis DeJoy will be our esteemed guest speaker.
This is a unique opportunity to hear his strategic corporate message directly from him.
We will be starting the day with a breakfast buffet and networking.
There will also be a consultation area with professionals who have expertise in various areas. They will be there ready to answer your questions. Let’s talk!
Chris Lien, Vice President of Postal Affairs for BCC Software. will present Do Something! to Align with the Delivering for America plan. The Delivering for America plan is the bold USPS strategy to do something to enhance and optimize its delivery network for sustainable future growth. Do you have a plan that aligns with this transformative change to the largest postal delivery network in the world? In this session, Chris will deliver five key strategies for you to Do Something! to proactively prepare for these important postal network changes and make every mail piece count.
We will have a photo booth that incorporates the rich history of the Postal Service, with an old train car as the backdrop. Did you know that from the 1870s to the 1940s, trains moved most of America's mail, and that it was sorted on the trains? The term "nixie" came from the mail clerks sorting mail on the trains. Nixie meant unsortable or misaddressed letters and we still use this term today!
